The audience will see yoyo players of all ages from around the MidWest displaying their yoyo skills in two divisions.
Single A is the most popular and well known style of yoyo play. The player does complex string tricks with the yoyo attached to his hand.
The Open Division is for no traditional styles of play. This can include almost anything. Often you will see more than one yoyo being used, the yoyo being detached from the sring, and the string being detached from the hand.
Each player will have 2 minutes on stage to preform their tricks to music in front the judges, this is called a freestyle.
The contest ends with an awards ceremony where we announce the contest winners and the MN State Champions (The highest ranking Minnesota resident in each division).
