An MC that is well travelled, not only in life, but in Hip Hop as well.
It all began in 1993. A beautiful year for Hip Hop, as well as the birth year of the most expressive and dynamic rapper this galaxy has ever witnessed. Light years were traveled, many casualties were sustained in the lonely solace of space, giants defeated and deviant temptresses tamed, all while on large amounts of dimethyltryptamine. Now I have found myself spiraling down through a hellish battle between order and chaos, dreams and reality, life or the absence of…I dream these afflictions in the night; I seek my answers in the daytime.
1. an especially active, vigorous advocate of a cause, especially a political cause.
That may be the dictionary definition of the word, but words have created a whole new platform to expand it, for a duo from the Midwest United States. Growing up in Albert Lea, a small town in southern Minnesota, the least common thing to pursue is music, or art in general. Adam Quincy and T. Shaw began their journey as high school students freestyling on the way home from basketball games, but soon became totally immersed in hip-hop culture. Each come from different musical backgrounds, with Quincy leaning toward the old school and Shaw toward new school, but this dichotomy is what sparked the early inspiration. Since the group’s inception, their goal has been to bridge the gap between substance and familiarity, while also resurrecting the art of lyricism. Ranging from haunting rap ballads to lighthearted anthems, the arsenal of these two is limitless.

Feed the souls of the people, that’s the mission that Show faces everyday. A student of the art, Show started by writing poetry. The rhythmic syllables and cadence of his poems were put to music and soon, he was writing songs. The love affair with hip-hop started early and the love was unconditional. The story of those forgotten and of those who have stepped up, hip-hop is a language of pain and also the voice of hope.
