This 1971 Gottlieb pin shows the fun that can be had while making a game. The family fun backglass with the carnival style playfield makes this game a great display piece in any place! Roller coaster is the first from Gottlieb to use the metal wire transports, creating an opening for the pinballs to expand on this design.
Roller Coaster 1971 only had 1550 machines made and there are only 10 known in the United States. Coaster scores 6.8 out of 10 making it a lower-scoring game than most, but still enjoyable for play!
How to play: This is a simpler skill shot game, focusing on hitting numbers 1-4 on the playfield to change points from 500 to 5,000. hitting all numbers lites double bonus and special score. also, rotating the wheel can add some serious points if your aim is good enough to give it a spin!
